As you enter you’re given a set of double channel wireless headphones. In the dance room are two DJ’s playing simultaneously – and until you put your headphones on you can’t hear either of them. Get dancing – and if you don’t like what’s playing on one channel then simply flick a switch to tune in to the other DJ playing something completely different. Take your ‘phones off and you can chat to your mates – or listen to several hundred people cheering tracks or singing along to their favourite anthems.

Elemental VW Show (formerly VWs@Stansted) is in its fifth year. The show is being held as always at The Mountfitchet Mathematics and Computing College, Stansted, Essex. CM24 8TZ and aims to be a fun-filled family orientated day in a relaxed, chilled out atmosphere.

The show this year will follow the same format as last year with the show and entertainment day on the Saturday and the camping at the show site Saturday evening, allowing visitors to stay enjoy the bar and evening entertainment without having to drive home afterwards.

What’s going on in 2010 ?

We are planning to build on the already popular relaxed show format, extending both daytime and evening activites for 2010:

Life long VW owner and founder member of 70′s rock band “Hawkwind” to star this years festival along with Meurig ‘D.W.’ Griffiths, (ex-Madonna drummer) and other co stars from Hawkwind and Space Ritual.

With Nik known for burning the candle at both ends, this appearance will be no different.

Extra Entertainment for the Kids

We are pleased to announce that we’re laying on somethign extra for the kids this year – The Bedlam Bunch!

The Bedlam Bunch are professional, CRB certified, children’s entertainers with many years of experience and bring with them lots of colourful fun and wild activity including interactive adventure stories, games, balloon-modelling, magic, dressing up and puppet shows.

Silent Sound Systems Haloween Spooky Mystery party as the Monster Mash, Ghost town and all the other seasonal favories are being enjoyed at a private Silent Disco party.

Halloween (also spelled Hallowe’en) is an annual holiday celebrated on October 31.
It has roots in the Celtic festival of Samhain and the Christian holy day of All Saints, but is today largely a secular celebration. Halloween activities include trick-or-treating,
wearing costumes and attending costume parties, carving jack-o’-lanterns, ghost tours, bonfires, visiting haunted attractions, pranks, telling scary stories, and watching horror films.
